These Terms govern SpeakReady, an iOS app operated by ABX Apps. This page is only for SpeakReady. Community Exchange has its own terms at https://abx-apps.com/terms.
SpeakReady is licensed, not sold. The app binary is subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA). These Terms are a short service agreement for SpeakReady. They are not a custom App Store EULA.
By using SpeakReady you also agree to the SpeakReady Privacy Policy.
1. The service
SpeakReady lets you practice a spoken conversation with an AI partner and record the session on your device to review later.
- The live spoken partner is provided by xAI Grok Voice.
- Session video and audio are saved on your device for review. We do not host those recordings.
- Practice minutes are sold only through Apple In-App Purchase.
2. Purchases
- Starter and Deal are consumable minute packs. Purchased minutes do not expire.
- Power Pass is an auto-renewable monthly subscription. It renews unless you cancel in Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Unused subscription minutes do not roll over.
- A short complimentary allowance may be granted once per account.
- Prices are shown in the app via Apple and may vary by region.
- Restore purchases re-links entitlements for the Apple ID on the device.
- Refunds follow Apple’s policies.
3. Your content and recordings
You are responsible for what you say and show on camera. Do not record other people without their permission. You can delete a session in the app.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SpeakReady for illegal, abusive, or harmful purposes, or to attempt to abuse billing, rate limits, or the live voice service.
5. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Practice sessions are for personal practice only and are not professional coaching, therapy, or language certification.
6. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ABX APPS IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR SPEAKREADY DIGITAL FEATURES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50, EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED.
7. Governing law
Except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue is the California courts with jurisdiction over the dispute, subject to your non-waivable rights.
