ABX Apps
ABX Apps is the software studio that develops and operates Community Exchange (App Store display name). Support and legal pages for this product are hosted on abx-apps.com.
Community Exchange is a peer-to-peer barter and trade app. You can browse public listings as a guest, or sign in with Apple to open a storefront, host live visits, call other traders, and seal promissory notes.
Quick start
- Browse without an account Open Find to browse the public marketplace. Location (when allowed) sorts listings by distance; it is not sold and is not used for advertising tracking.
- Create your account Sign in with Apple after you choose a plan path (ABX Hosting subscription or self-hosted LiveKit), set your profile, and optionally pin your store area.
- Open your store Hosted plans use ABX-managed video rooms. Free / manual setup uses your own LiveKit Cloud project credentials.
- Trade safely Meet-ups and handoffs are between peers. The app is not escrow. Use Report and Block tools if something feels wrong.
Plans and purchases
- Browsing stays free. Hosted video, extra listing packs, and banner credits use Apple In-App Purchase.
- Restore Purchases is available on the plan screen and ABX Hosting settings.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Annual pricing that “saves 2 months” is a discounted annual price, not a free trial, unless Apple shows a free trial.
Safety & age
- Intended for users 18+. The app may request Apple’s Declared Age Range.
- Report listings, store visits, calls, and Neighbors posts in-app. We aim to review within 24 hours under normal operations.
- Blocked people are managed under Account → Safety.
Delete your account
In the app: Account → Delete Account & Data. This removes server profile data, CloudKit discovery records, and local app data, subject to propagation delays.
